^^you should act like that would be an appealing thing to girls when you hit on them
Re: whats a beat makers style?
word. "yo baby my balls are like sandpaper, check out these holes in my jeans. wait where are you going?"
Re: whats a beat makers style?
^^haaah
Me, I dunno I like a lot of different styles so I can't say. Sometimes I like a comfy look, sometimes glam, etc. It depends how I feel that day. I'm actually a female so anything to do with my exterior reflecting my lifestyle (hip hop scientist, beat maker, overall music lover, etc..) is already out the window haha. People can't help but misjudge me so I don't really sweat it. I just do me. Whatever me is that day, so long as it looks good.
I did do that whole baggy jeans thing when I was in high school for a little bit though, but I grew out of it quickly.
Funny story: I bought my 303 off of some guy named Shannon. My man and I drove out to a neighboring city to pick it up. We were certain based on his name and the look of the general population we saw there that he would be some strawberry blonde irish-canadian cat and we kept picking people who we thought were him that seemed to be coming in our direction. We finally saw some west indian guy roll up with the sp, but instead of giving me the run down about the unit, etc, he ignored me except for the occasional glance and spoke directly to my man. I certainly learned something about assumptions that day

..Pretty sure Plexxsounds was talking about his ACTUAL daughters t-shirt. Like his kid's.In a bind, a little kids t is the perfect size for a headwrap/skully type deal-kinda like rocking a towel.. fold over the neck hole, throw it over your head and tie that shit in the back with the sleeves, lol. Not only does it look kinda dope(depending on your style) but you can freak people out that think only terrorists wear turbans.EDIT- If I'm wrong about that, there's a free tip for all you dads out there!
Me-I'm forever stuck in the early-mid nineties-baggy jeans/cargos,hoodies,skullies,fitteds,2-3x t's(I'm 6 foot about 185 though-no nightgown t's for me),adidas, nikes, timbs & pumas..don't at all consider it a "uniform"-just how i grew up & I honestly don't know how to dress any different,it would be impossible. I still got my own style & mix shit up though- don't like wearing cliche "hip hop" brands like echo, roccawear & phat farm etc-plus someone like jay z's got more than enough money at this point, don't think I really need to be making any donations ..like today I was in some cut off no name cargo shorts(waist never under 38!), a white tee over a thermal, some high top adidas forums, an element zip up hoodie and a skully-I like it that people can't automatically peg me as "this" or "that", still I always got hip hop flavor to what I'm rocking..it's just what I am.I keep saying I wanna bring rugby's back...but I made an oath to never again wear a collared shirt some years back & I'm trying to stick to it. But damn, I used to have the ill 'lo rugby's!Nautica,girbaud,guess,etc... Used to boost the fuck out of some shit, lol.

Re: whats a beat makers style?
i dont really wear any style..
i am usually a schizophrenic mixture of earthy natural lookin loose fitting (but not baggy) stuff.. and futuristic synthetic looking stuff..
just like the music I try to make
kinda oscillate between the two depending on mood. Either way is usually constituted of tshirt, hoodie, cargos/other pants
basically just I avoid stuff which has random writing on it or brand logos.. I prefer designs that is kinda like patterns or textures or a design that tries to be part of a tshirt rather than try to represent an object on a tshirt.
side note: I hate buttons so much I would almost say I have a phobia for them.
