sp 606 start stop mode

hi anyone knows how or can the start stop mode be changed cause when using pedal, it just wouldnt return to beginning, it just play where u stopped

i dont understand the question. do you mean when you hit the pads it stops when you release it. you gotta hit (function +pad sample parameter) and change that pads preferences, gate starts and stops when you press and release the pad, alternate is like trigger, it starts when you hit it and ends when its done, loops if you set it to loop and drum just triggers the sample all the way through, no loop.
i sound like the manual yo, you might wanna glance on that!!!
