The mpc forums is coming with a mixtape(thats where i got the idea). I though it would be sick to have the sp-forums do a mixtape.

This site definantly has a lot of talent.(def more talent than mpc forum

Real Talk, if we all throw or best shit together into a mixtape I'll bring it to the CEO of ABB records here in Oakland and see if he's interested in some next level underground shit, and this includes everyone not just hip hop cats even though it's a hip hop label. Diversity and acceptance is the future I wanna contribute to, not limits or genres to hold back our creativity.

cool. I was thinking about having diversity as a theme for the tape- basically showing different styles from different parts of the globe.

I think the context and style should be up to each individual for the sake of creativity and talent which is what should be showcased. Other opinions?

that sounds really cool.
i spend a lot of my time on forums (im a complete loser)
but the music here is a tad bit better than that over at the mpc-forums.

i just got the 404 so im not that hot yet but im cool on the cut (im a scratch nerd).

maybe if there is a mixtape volume 2 i might be down.

you should get someone to do some dope artwork and ish too.

sometimes on the scratch forums that i frequent people make scratch tapes and when you download the zip they have like artwork in the folder.
i know it sounds simple but it's kind of dope when it's just something you downloaded from the net. it gives it a nice touch.

Yeah, I would say we have to throw it to Lord Beatjitzu's boy that does his photoshop work. If not him, I know plenty of dope artists and graphic designers.

any guidelines? as in, strictly sp-machine only? i tend to pull in aw the gear on my stuff, but i'd be throwin it all into the 404 and recording the live-mix from the 404 to the pc, if you follow.

if that's cooooo, i'd be happy to throw sompin in.

Yeah, but they'd all get murked and not necessarily on production skills, but most mpc users really aren't to creative with their sound and it's moslty standard I wanna be on the radio type shit.
