Do you use midi with the boss and the sp? Again the manual is confusing as hell, I'm just trying to trigger the sp with the br to track stuff out. I've done the whole hold the bpm button down when i turn the sp on,selected "auto", and press the hold pad when you select your pattern thing. Thought I had the settings on the br right but when i hit play or record the sp isnt doing anything. Maybe you don't use the midi at all,but if you do I'm assuming the functions are the same on the 600 and 900. I'd REALLY appreciate some info if you know how this works. Thanks, peace.

hi
i've tried to do that with an sp404 and a dp01 digital rec.; the sp404 was ever "in delay" (out of synch)...
anyway, with the "auto" the midi should work...

Thats what I'm thinking, I must be doing something wrong on the recorder side, the damn manual is really unneccesarily complicated, hopefully I'll get it figured out. Thanks man.

Hey! Shit, sorry dude... Been away for a bit there. Thanks Ella for stepping in!

I'm about to fail again here- the BR600 doesn't have midi, I'm just super careful at using the timer & punch in/out functions (haven't had the SP & BR slip out of time when the BPMs been right). Sorry dude, maybe its time to start a BR forum or something?

It's all cool man.I'm really not that worried about tracking stuff out, think it's overrated to a certain extent sound wise-at the same time I wanna be able to do it to layer some sequences w/out the drums with some of the br's effects(they got some crazy shit!), and be able to give m.c.'s beats tracked out if needed. Haven't been fucking with it, but I'm sure it'll work out when it needs to.Also doing it manually isn't a huge deal-I just hate it when you're a mlilisecond or so off & keep having to start over,lol..frustrating.Peace
