Importing through wave converter software

If I want to use a bunch of samples I have stored on my computer, I assume the wave converter software is the fastest way to go. I haven't tried it yet, so it might be a nightmare.

Anyways, when I do this, what is the best way to set the start and end points of a sample, and is it better to use a computer program and then use the wave converter software, or should I get it on the sp-404sx and then use the mark button and fine adjust knobs?

I guess I'm asking if it's better to do all of the cutting on the computer first and then putting it on the sp-404sx or putting it on the sp-404sx and then adjusting that.

It just depends on what method is easiest for you. A lot of people like to use the mark button to chop up samples. Most likely, you'll be resampling and chopping all your samples on the sp anyways, so it might be best to master that first.
