I seem to remember that record having a couple of ok sounds on it that you could probably mangle and twist up.. Sorry to say, but it's a pretty lame ass album though! Good luck with saving up for your 404.. once you get it you'll find that you can pretty much sample anything, add some effects, resample and repeat and make something great from something not so great!.. all the best, Slushy
I'm sure you guys know, but the "she" that made that album is a "he". Either way.... pretty dope album in my opinion. Wendy/Walter Carlos did multitracking the real way. To make chords the same sequence was played out and recorded over the top of eachother to achieve the layers needed to make the chords. Old school....
Also in case you guys didn't know Wendy/Walter Carlos also did the original Tron soundtrack. If you've never heard it, it's amazing! I don't think the Daft Punk sound track will even hold a candle in comparison.
