Good morning everyone. I have been making some thoughts lately on the live usage of the 404, since that's the main reason i bought it.
I was planning to play keyboards on stage and have the 404 for the backing tracks but since i might not be able to control the 404 while playing the keys, i was wondering if i could just load the whole wav file on a pad and trigger each song separately.
The capacity will not be an issue since we're talking about 5-6 songs, which i believe coud fit in a 1 gb card.
Waitin for your thoughts!

A lot of people do the same thing. You can just let the whole song play out and just drop random effects over it to keep it interesting.

It will work to use the 404 for backing tracks like that. The alternatives add strain either more things to do or cost more money.
You needn't play to a fixed song for everything - you can always split a tune into sections and do some improv' over a loop for solo's. It isn't too difficult to find a hand free for odd moments to work the pads.
