But don't the SPs, DAWs & digital recorders come with metronomes already?

oh well i record synth and other intruments into my mpc and 303 after i find a good break and chop as needed. but i dont use the pattern sequencer on the 303, and i record direct into mpc. it helps

When I need a metronome other than those on the gear itself, I sometimes use a record with music which loosely fits - quickly sync it by hand, and off you go
musical metronome. Much better than just a click
