By the way how you liking the mpc/sp combo? I've been using a lot of the 2000xl/404 or 303 combo and it's an awesome way to work.

Holy shit man, if people hadnt mentioned it i never would have guessed there were 30 beats here- just the smoothest of transitions, and a very enjoyable listen. Threw it on the ipod for my trip to and from school- and dont tell my prof but it stayed on throughout his entire lecture haha.

Out of all of em, if I had to choose one, it'd be life and time. Awesome vibe, beautiful sample, and the perfect drums to accompany it. Do yourself a favour and DL this before he realizes he should be charging money for it.

Thanks JC… yeah, the combo was quite clunky at first… now I have a good workflow with the two... to the point of where they almost seem like one unit to me. Sometimes I chop everything on the 404 and send it to the 3000, and sometimes I do it the other way around… they are always used together though, regardless of how its done. Can't imagine one without the other... (although there are a lot of tracks on this tape that were strictly 404)
