I poured through the archives pretty heavy to try and get a handle on this.
I know if you go to the FAQ's from Roland, it lists the Sandisk Ultra II as a successfully tested card. The problem is that these run $20. I already have 2 and they work fine.
Quite a large number of people in this forum posted that they use Sandisk cards, but were not specific if they used the Ultra II's or not. You can buy the regular 1 Gig cards for fairly cheap, so if they work, that's the route I want to go.
Matter of fact, if you know a tried and true inexpensive brand (non-Sandisk), please list the specific brand and model. The Sandisk Ultra II's are starting to sell like antiques!
