I'm very interested in buying a 303, but have just found a 505 for a good price.
What are the fundamental differences between the 2 apart from the more pads on a 505?
The compactness of the 303 is very appealing to me, so paying more money for something even bigger wouldn't be worthwhile for me unless there are some significant features I could gain.
Thanks guys.
303 or 505?

Re: 303 or 505?
hi
those are the main differences
-the 505 sequencer can pass from 1 pattern to another simply on scrowling; the 303 do that only "manually".
-the 505 can do songs and not only patterns
-the 505 got a 4 tracks sequencer
-the 505 got a graphical screen for chop samples and write titles
-it has a unique pitch function too.
-the 303 sounds warmer than the 505
personal advice:
if you are a more "studio cat", the 505 is for you; if you are more "live and direct", take the 303...
