how to mix/setupshould on a sp303?

i dont have a pc but when i use library computer ..

also should i buy a tascam 4 track?

That u-control thing will work fine for recording into a computer. I assume you made a beat in the 303 sequencer and want to record the different parts to separate tracks for mixing. I would use the isolator effect and turn all the knobs to the left completely and use the remain button to apply a mute effect on all the sounds except what I wanted recorded on a particular track ie; mute everything but the drums and record that to one track, then mute everything but the main sample and record that to the next track and so on. You'll have to learn to align everything in whatever you chose to record to whether it's a computer or a tascam 4-track and this will only come with practice.
