i like the vibe of the sample...you need to try and record that sample better though. lots of hiss on my end...too much. but its cool...as it is it would be a dope little intro to another song or somethin.
lookin for other gritty folk to work with....
mpc1000, sp 404, akai s900, roland vs 880ex, pioneer rt 707, akai gx m50
fl studio producer edition, and lots of vinyl, i mean LOTS

Stonedhedge is cool; sounds like the group A.M. Architect.

yeah i got some killer hum going on when i record in i can't seem to defeat, plus i've got some major tape saturation going on which is not helping.

i think your confused about tape saturation my friend, that shit is usually a good thing, keeps your shit from clipping real heavy and sounding like shit, although be easy rippin it back into the 404, keep that peak light only flashin on the fat sounds like drum hits and shit, but as for the hum, i think i figured out what was making it happen on mine, check and make sure all the colored wires coming out of the back of the needle are connected to where they are supposed to be, they are like 4 short different colored wires that are only an inch or two long, they kinda hook up in a square pattern, 2 on top 2 on bottom, i noticed that the wire had come out on one side and just slid it back on and it was as easy as that, got rid of the hum permanently, i'm sure yours is probably doing the same thing......

oh and my dial up doesn't permit me to check the new shit, i know its ill though, i'll get to it soon homie
