padKontrol discontinued?

i'm kind of sold on buying a padkontrol but i recently found out they're discontinued.
any word on a successor to it? or should i just buy this shit? hah

I'd get it from eBay or Craigslist or some place else where you can get it secondhand.

It's pretty much one of the better pad controllers according to many.

I had the Akai MPD24, but that sucks. ( got motivated by this dope beat to buy one; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tA1lZjFzgI8 , but I soon found out the pads aren't actually very comfortable. )

cool i'm probably gonna pick one up in the next few days

& owning a mpk49 steered me away from going anywhere near a mpd for pads even after i did the mod they felt like shit.

the padKontrol is an awesome controller, pads are the best i've used.

mpd's are far from genuine mpc pads like akai says. i very nearly got a padkontrol, then relaised i could jus midi up my 1k.
