no effects when using Roll?
i know you can fade in and out using the D-Beam. But the filters etc don't work when using roll?

Re: no effects when using Roll?
All the effects will work on the sample being rolled, you just can't control any of the knobs while you have the roll button pressed. Alternatively, you can use the D-Beam on trigger, as you mentioned, for volume on rolls or the D-Beam filters will work on the roll. Of course, that means you can't use the D-Beam for volume and have filters at the same time. Then again, if it were possible and you can hold the roll button & a sample pad, use the D-beam for volume, and turn the knob for the filter at the same time, you'd have to be pretty talented to pull them moves off!
