So, how about a mixer thread?

I'm thinking about playing live. What kind of mixer should I get?

I did a thread search and didn't really find a cohesive thread about mixers.

Well, I assumed people knew I am using the SP 303, but if you need more accurate information, I use two SP 303s simultaneously.

What about everyone else? I see so many views, but no feedback. I just want to get a conversation going about better mixers or worse mixers for particular jobs, etc.

Or, maybe, should I post this thread in a different SP forum?

I decent DJ mixer would probably do you good. Vestax makes real nice mixers. numark also makes good sounding mixers that are affordable. The faders wear out if you do alot of fader tricks tho....but if you just need it to go between your 2 303s that should be fine.

haha I didn't mean a different forum altogether; I meant should I have posted this in "Production Techniques," etc.

They cost mad bread, but they are worth every bit if you don't want fader bleed and a nice smooth fader action.

Man I wanted that thing so bad tonight 'cause my crap ass blender died mid blend while I was making a mango lassi and I couldn't help but remember seeing that iphone get mashed on as my poor blender couldn't even get through some yogurt and fresh fruit, I think it needs some dentures in it's old age or some shit.

Yeah, there's a place in San Francisco called Shalimar that me an my Pakistani friend go to, it's probably some of the best food I've ever had and we never have to wait 'cause he knows the owner.
