Hello SP Forums! And I have some questions.

Post by Instrumental »

First off, hello everyone! I'm extremely new to the SP game, lol. The music I love his pretty much underground like People Under the Stairs, Thes One, DJ Premier, Gang Starr, The Vultures, Air, J Dilla, Blaq Poet, ect. The list can go on and on! I have a few questions about the SP 404SX. I have never owned anything related to making beats and I dying to learn how. Creating music I like just sounds so awesome. I've done some research and a lot of people are saying I should get the SP 404SX. If I got that it would be my first type of beat maker ever. So basically what I'm asking, is this a good choice if this is my first time? I have the money for it, but is it easy to learn with? I probably have A LOT more questions, but I'll ask them later on.

-Thanks!

i would say "yes", but no one can answer that for you.

watch youtube vids of how guys use the machine. try one out in the store. learn as much as you can about what you want to do, then research which samplers will work best for you.

good luck.
