Tonight, I uploaded about 7 .wavs so that they may be played simultaneously...not ALL at the same time...but one beat, one bass line, and one melody...etc. as I played these, I went to another bank and started playing gated vocals, triggering and releasing....next, the songs that were playing cut on, and then off, and then went random.

Am I playing too many samples at once? ...or could this be a mem. card related issue?

most likely too many samples at once

resample them into Mono, then you can have twice as many voices

you can play 12 pads at a time. Pads with stereo samples count as 2.

That's one of the reasons I like these things, sometimes the mistakes or malfunctions make my favorite beats.
