SP-303 with Logic

Post by yayitsye »

I was wondering if there was a way to get the beats made on the Sp-303 and run it thru Logic.

yes^ you can, it will slightly affect the audio though, and tracks will be recorded to logic in mono rather than stereo. It's fine to start off with though. In the future you may want to buy an interface of some sort- they even sell a small portable usb one pretty cheap- works alright.

They wont be recorded in mono.. Make sure you use the line in plug not the microphone plug.

He said headphone jack, so i just assumed he meant through the mic in.. A lot of computers don't have line in, I know mine doesn't.. but yes if you have a line in, use that.
