Can the SP-404 overdub samples?

Post by Sike »

I was wondering if the SP-404 allows you to stack samples . For instance...Can I take 4 different bass drums or snares drums and stack them on top of each other on one pad?

Id like to import my beats to the SP and record some samples over them but I cant figure out how or if its even possible. I remember overdubbing beats on the SP-303 but its a been so long that I don't remeber how the hell I was able to do it.

Thanks

you gotta resample to stack drum hits. I think you can do only do 2 at a time.

Thanks homie.

Is there anyway I can record directly from the turntable to a sample I have stored. I tried resampling but that only allows me to stack samples, it doesnt allow me to record live from my turntable onto a sample I already have stored
