just wrote like 5 paragraphs then accidently hit the back button probably my most frusterating moment today and on this forum  so here it goes again :?
@ELLA- Thanks for the feedback on the track your always the first to take a listen and that means a lot. As for the sp-555, last week I traded my Korg ESX and SP-404 for My good friend Ricos sp-555. Earlier i wrote an extremely long explanation for my trade but due to my idiotic flynch pressing the back button i now will summerize that lengthy response. I made the change mostly to streamline my workflow, using three samplers at the same time is extremely fun and rewarding for doing live improv stuff, but can get really tedious when mucking around with inputs etc. Also being plagued with a broken headphone jack on my laptop has forced me to use a work around to stream the audio from my janky m-audio fast track ( which sounded horribly noisey in a bad way and would crash my computer all the time. As you gents probably know the sp 555 basically has three inputs :1/4,rcas,and usb so no more mucking with inputs everything is hooked up simultanously. I could go on about all the other features i love about the 555 but i already did that and screwed that up the first time.

As for the sh 201, recently i bought a darkstar xp2 looking for a unique synth, but just didnt dig the sounds i was making on it , so I flipped it made some nice profit on it and put it away to save for the synth ive wanted for years the Roland SH 201, found one in pretty good condition and copped it yesterday for 300. Funny this was the setup i wanted two years ago when i first grabbed my 404 and switched from reason to hardware.

Now i have found my ideal setup efficient, streamlined, simple yet versatile
now all i have to think about is turning them on.....seamless
I can use both away from the computer
use both as controllers with computers
or record to computer
without having to touch any inputs outputs etc

@ IIIII thanks man appreciate you checking it , im a big fan of your stuff so it means a lot. I actually didnt use Paul stretch at all on this track, That programs the ish, but been haven't used it on any tracks for a couple of months to try to break the habit, my early tracks such as lost seagullz I was using paulstretch on most my samples, so wanted to make sure it diddnt turn out to be a crutch, btw might run that lofi one through my mixer into my dp02 and boost the lows, but yeah i dig the lofi one too

@ bridge: thanks for your honesty, i was diggin the lowfi one too but wasnt sure, my buddy formal liked the clean version better,so thought i would post both ,The 555's lofi compressor is hype

Glad you came aboard, as you know now instant drones from any sample, but especially choice on ladies voices and library synth records. Best free program i have ever downloaded outside of audacity .

does your audio ever spazz the fuckout and generate the gnarliest loud shriek ever for like 3 seconds?that would happen to me and luckily go back to normal after three seconds but damn the first time blew my ear drums but didnt make my beats any deafer. I have yet to try it with 555 audio interface, so maybe it didnt like my shitty fast track interface.....

yes, i sold the esx and (one year ago) the sp404 too.
i will take the sp555 me too :) ?
glad you found an efficient and simple setup, and i remember we talked about the sh201; i don't know it very well in reality but if you got some site to suggest where they show the sh201 examples to listen i will appreciate.

i got an F.T.P. too, its own preamps are not very nice that's true, but if you use its gains until 13h or 14h (with a more accurate voulumes on gears or mixer too), then i don't found this soundcard that noisy...i mean, for the low part of the market this soundcard is ok and there is not a great difference between this art and the mid part (motu etc) of the market in therms of sound: the converters are not so different between them; the real difference stands on more better preamps...
