hey guys, i finally finished an EP i've been working on since late '09 till mid '10. this isn't the 404 beat tape that i will also be uploading shortly, but it was produced with Reason 4, Axiom 61, and the SP-404. i'd really appreciate if you gave it a listen all the way through and gave some constructive criticism or feedback. it runs only about 30-35min or so.

i had actually originally decided to made the EP a split album with the more mellow songs on one side and the other songs on a different side, but i just threw them all together and tried to get it to flow the best it can. enjoy!

Alright just had a listen to it(all the way through, so I expect you to give your ears on my new project coming out june 20th!!!hah). I thought the whole thing was dope. The wobble bass was raw on every track, and I like the layers of rhythm. I thought that the majority of the mix in my opinion could of been brighter, the bass seemed to dwarf out some of the highs. It would add alot of color to it if you could maybe bring some of the sounds out more. All in all though it was good, keep it up bro! Also you should tag all your tracks(artist name, album name, etc.)!!! Keep in touch, PEACE

thank you for the feedback!! everytime i raised the highs when mixing it would end up clipping, so i basically tried to keep all the highs under -2dB. appreciate you giving it the time. i might end up going back to mix it better or maybe just get it mastered...

The battle of getting that perfect mix!!! haha yeah im always reluctant to hand my work off to another person for mixing. I was listening in some semi worn sony speakers too so my review was semi accurate...but overall it sounded tight. Do you have a midi controller/program to rock live improv sets on this album?

yeah same here man. they're camnridge soundworks speakers with a shitty sub. but yeah i have ableton but i just don't have a fast enough computer to run it, especially with reason 4 on this biatch too.

hey mezzo - i didn't really know yr stuff before, so i was happy to check yr shit out. i'm really glad i did. lots of cool sounds happening, good production, nice blend of really digital sounds and more 'organic' stuff.

nothin' really to add. i'm just hearing this thru terrible laptop speakers, but i'm diggin' it. nice work.
