Need To Program Long Patterns For Live Accompaniment

Ill be playing acoustic guitar in a live setting and i want to have long patterns play to accompany me but will not have the free hands to manipulate sequencer, how long can i make a pattern? what are some techniques you may use in this situation? i'm new, thanks!

record out and then record it back in so its all on one pad you can trigger, just make sure there aren't any change ups that you will have to do manually while your playing your guitar, but you can get fade in/fade out, effects, whatever, all lined up when you record out cause your doin it yourself, then record back in and just press that pad and your ready to rock
