multi-track recording w/ SP-606

Post by FyLe ForMatz »

what's the "standard" way to mutli-track the patterns you make in the 606?

for example, if i wanted to record a 606 pattern with 8 sequenced sounds into pro tools, how would that be done?

i don't want all 8 sounds to be recorded into one stereo track...i want each of the 8 sounds to have their own track in pro tools so i can mix them appropriately.

thanks for any insight / techniques you can give!

You can try to pan out the samples, like sound 1 panned hard left and sound 2 hard right then record them in PT as mono, two tracks at a time.
