Looking for a CF memory card

I am new to the SP-404 and I'm looking for a memory card. I recently purchased this card because someone on this forum said it's compatible:

But when I try to format it, nothing happens. Is it because it's a 2gb card, or because that model is not compatible with the SP-404 at all? Which cards will work with the SP? Thanks for the help.

Never used a 404, but my guess is its because its 2gb, i believe you can only use a 1 gb. someone else will know for sure though, correct me if im wrong

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll have to return this one then. Does any 1GB compact flash card work, or does it have to be a specific brand or something? I found some on eBay but not sure what's compatible.

That's what I'm using in my 404 right now. It will work.
