Hiya everyone, got a quick question
In garageband I set the tempo to 150 bpm, I have a sample that takes 16 bars, and I export it to disk as aif format, I listen to it and it takes the right amount of time. When I import it to my sp404 through the card however it comes up as 94 bpm. Am I wrong in thinking that if it ends exactly on 16 bars in garageband set at 150 bpm( Iend the song with the purple slider thingy) it should be 150 bpm on the 404? Any help will be much appreciated.

Change the BPM: Time/BPM and then move CTRL 2.

Re: Question about samples out of garageband and timing issues
i wouldn't mess with the BPM knob, it just isn't reading the BPM properly, i mean, it is 16 bars, thats pretty long, it reads the wrong BPM alot of the time, it doesn't matter though cause it doesn't really affect anything
Re: Question about samples out of garageband and timing issues
make a 16 bar sequence in pattern mode at 150 bpm, use 4 quantize and hit the sample at 1.1 and see if it loops right then go from there, like everyone said sometimes the 404 reads the bpm wrong
he who hesitates gathers no moss

DR van what sharp meant was change the bpm that the sp is running at..
in pattern mode press time/bpm and turn ctrl 2 till it says 150. or just play the sample and use tap tempo
