I don't have my 404 with me at the moment to test this, but i was reading some other threads about broken RCA jacks. Somebody suggested just using the headphone and mic inputs when the RCAs go bad (mine are still fine tho). My question is this, if I record with the MIC input will it still sample in stereo if I'm using the correct stereo 1/4" adapter? Or is the MIC input only mono?

I'm pretty sure, I think I've tried it while I had it. But yeah, I'd like to be wrong (1/4" makes a lot more sense than RCA, even more so when the RCA jacks are broken).
