Chicago Hip-Hop Mpc+SP...Blazed.On.Belmont
More diverse samples and beats in this beat tape influenced by my daily trips on the CTA's Buses and Trains... full of funk, soul, and homeade bass drums...
Give it a listen

great sounds
well recorded and conceived!
what were your gear (or software) this time? was the sp505 alone?
ps
just one point: i wish some of the loop/ideas were more developed, not only for 1 min but more...

Thanks to Bierd and ellaguru
This time the sp505 blessed each sample with its warmth ...also all drums were eq'ed on the sp...
Mpc1k ended up doing all the chopping sequencing and drum programing...
Then all was exported to live 8 for mixing, mastering, arrangement, and mainly compressing each beat differently...
To ellaguru :
I dont feel people are ready for my 5 min mixes so... I kinda been giving you guys a taste of what i can do and then when i feel i have enough listeners and skill then maybe i'll break those beats out...
I cant imagine people spending their precious time listening to some unkown kid's 45 min beat tape... Maybe in the future?

Good stuff mans. The SP plus mpc set up is really nice.
Good mix. I like the shortness of everything actually. Yr saying what you wanna say and then you move on. I dig it. Nodders.

Cool tape chilled, easy on the ears. I like the way you bring the vocal samples in and out there mixed very well excellent work. Keep it up
Peace
