Effects on patterns...

I have a pretty new 404 I picked up via VintageSynth and I have some tabla patterns recorded.

The effects don't always work on playback, I don't think the box is hosed, but it's odd, cuz they do work sometimes.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, any thoughts?

Are effects only used in the recording of patterns? If so, that would kind of suck.

you gotta have the fx assigned to the pad. you can assign the same fx to several different pads (i think you hit remain while hitting the pads you want to apply fx to) . if you want to apply different fx to different pads ,then you have to resample

Thanks a lot man. I'm just a simple drummer with simple means and a need to hit things, buttons, animal skins, that I just can't understand.
