Resample Record Controller Q

Hello People,

2 questions...

Q. Is it possible to resample to a pad using a controller..e.g play individual hits as a beat to one pad using a midi controller? I can do this from the pads on the 404 but not from a midi controller it seems....

3. Further to the above, is it possible to auto-record, so as the first midi event triggers the resampling?

Simple answer: no. No midi input at all is recognised during resampling.

I'm into creative limitions but some restrictions (such as this one) are just plain annoying.

You're welcome. And yeah, I wish too midi input or even pattern playback worked during resampling.

my 2nd-biggest gripe about the 404 next to no real pitch.

They could do away with pattern mode in my opinion. It would be far more useful to have real looping capabilities, such as overdub and playback while recording and yes, a usuable pitch shift would make the SP so much more useful.
