Transcend 1 GB CF card (problems)

okay guys, ive been lurkin on the forum for awhile and it has helped me greatly and i thank you for all yours help.
i read on a thread that the transcend 1 GB cf card (80x) is compatible with the sp - 404 so i purchased one.

i tried it out the other night and i can record a sample but i am unable to record with an effect on or resample with an effect on. once i use an effect the sample is ruined by a very horrible sounding tremolo/pan.

i tried recording directly into my macbook with the new samples and the same thing occured. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening? and if the answer is that the transcend card is not compatible

then please please please tell me where i can buy a compatible card. i am in desparate need. a link to a website would be tremendously appreciated.

Hmm..I've been using this card for the past few months, and have had no problems. You could try reformatting?

Claro esta en la lista de compatibilidad, pero se olvidaron de especificar la velocidad, "133x" es la recomendable.

You did format the card directly on the 404 and not on the mac ?! If you keep the same problems on your mac after formatting, the card maybe damaged.
