I never climbed the ladder in front of me to see where it did not lead. Only when I had never reached the top would I not have seen if the climb was not worth it.

Re: quick beat
I like the feel of the track, I personally would lower the piano sample more and either and more note variations or place the notes you used on different hits of the drum beat to create some dimension and space to the arrangement.
Re: quick beat
some thrilla sounds here.

Re: quick beat
yo when that bass synth comes in shit gets pretty vicious. i agree with Euc the main drum track and piano hits are a lil basic and repetitive just mix something in there to give a lil more swing with the melody and drum track and this could be something else but i gotta say its got that drawing you in quality as it is

Re: quick beat
thanks fam, this was just a 30 minute special really. Everything was single take that got my head rolling. I will be revisiting it when i get a spare minute away from my thesis and try for a bit of variation or at least 2nd layer on the synth.
Much respect to badmovies.org for the Planet of the Apes part 2 samples, they basicly make this track.
