need help with the volume on samples with sp 404

So i record my song from my mpc1k. into the my 404 and i have effects samples on my 404 that i want to put on my track..But when i hit the samples they sound louder then my track...is there anyway i can turn my samples down with affecting the level of my song..if this makes since

for real?? stick your nose into that manual homebwaye, or at least use the search on this site, the start/end/level button works on whatever pad you have selected currently and the knobs effect the 3 parameters with respects to their written order, so the third knob is the volume, 127 is the highest which it is at by default when you sample something in, so you can turn it down from there to your liking
