Do any of the SP samplers allow you to change midi note # assigned to pads?

Obviously the MPC does and the MV, but do any of the SP series? I know the 303 and 404 don't...what about the 505? 606? 555? 404sx?

Unfortunately even 606 cant do this.

It's really a pain in the ass for me, as I tend to sequence my 404 with 2000xl now, and the maximum midi note 2kxl can trigger is "99", so I can control only 2 banks of samples on sp-404 ( per channel )... Im getting by somehow though..

maybe anyone knows some solution to this?

sp-202 can do a trick which basically comes down to adding "60" to all the midi notes ( pad a1 - note 36 - becomes note 96 (, so yeah, you can change it there :)

its pretty messed up they didnt apply such option to the next models (maybe not adding but deducting 60 notes ) cuz -> see above my note about 2kxl

I know! it's the worst..just want to confirm, I'm phasing my MP out and using the SP1200 as the master sequencer..I guess I'll just let them "dance" to their own drummers and hook them up to start when the SP1200 tells the little 303 focker too

yeah I'm not really talking about the keyboard spread or "keygroups"...I'm talking about using the Sp120 as the master and changing the midi notes on the SP303/404 or whatever to correspond with the midi note numbers on the SP pads which aren't sequential...either way, it can't be done, it'd be cool to have someone "flash" my sp and program that ish in though, then we would be in harmony forever
