It's a dope little machine, it can take a sample and pitch it 8 pads, the effects are pretty ill also, my favorite being the scratch effect( which basically sounds like pitching a turntable) but the work flow on the machine is super quick such as assigning the same sample to all pads then chopping there is a designated copy button , I love mine, even though i got frusterated one night with some girl problems, and took it out the sampletrak, bent the right side of the frame but so far no problems other then cosmetic needless to say i feel like an amature .....but hopefully the little dirt machine will remain ok from my stupid temper. btw for more info check out 7th hes got some videos on chopping and the effects. Also check out formal (dirt machine beat tape) its super ill and all sampletrak, also juxt got a super dope all sampletrak mix tape, but i use it with my 404 and esx
LENS ANSWERING MACHINE & OTHER THEMES TAPE OUT NOW!!!!!

in a word: deadly.

this is one of the most badass samplers i've ever owned. period.

it does have its limitations, but when it comes to workflow, nothing can beat it, in my opinion. I did most of my last album on the little guy. great sound, fx, workflow, sequencer (once you know how to use it), editing, etc.

pros
pitch, resample patterns, sample when hearing patterns, swing on the fly, pitch scale, effect sync, auto sync, precise bpm editing, warm/darky sound, cool fx (what i prefer: time stretch, scratch, exciter, dimension, phaser, chorus, hi/lo pass, tremolo, step cry, extreme eq...)

cons
1 minute sampling time per song, only 8 songs, sequencer as the sp303 (by the hand)

cheers
