copy sample?

hey there.

i'm aware of the copy pattern trick with the 404, but it is possible to copy samples to put them on multiple pads? or is the only way to resample by hand?

you can copy samples the same way you copy patterns...
->back up the sample; now you can load it as often as you want...

resampling is faster though, but when it comes to long samples or clean loops this might be helpful also...

another copy trick is to export your sample and import it several times...
...that's the way i do it... also keep in mind that you can overwrite samples on your card... so you don't have to import all the sample you wanted to copy... hope you get that...

that's also a good tip if you have your card running out of space and you got exported samples on it, you can replace those with a short samples to free up space... too bad you can't delete them without a computer so this is a workaround for that...

If you dislike how resampling affects the quality, just make sure to resample each new sample from the original, so copies are only a single resample.
