I (not such a long time ago) bought an sp 404. I'm not sure what it is, but I think it's a bug. I record my guitar on my sp with a microphone going into my mixer and my mixer into the line in of the sp. When I play one pad (with my recorded guitar), there's no problem, but when I press another pad, he sometimes starts flipping out.. The sounds start skipping or just stop playing. Does this maybe have something to do with the fact I recorded the pads myself?
(sorry for my english)

could it be polyphony? there is a maximum amount of sound that the 404 can make, i think its 12 voice polyphony? if the samples your playing together add up to over 12 polyphony then some sounds and stuff are gonna get cut out. just a posibility, something to consider.

No it happens when I only use 2 pads.. (Stereo and hi-fi quality though, but still I should be able using 6 pads at a time)

i propose that it's the card not the 404...

you can test that by moving your samples to the internal bank and see if that bug still happens...

Reformatting could help, new card is the better way though...
