i agree with this cause i remember that madlib while a nasty beat producer, he also makes some other beats that he must consider his"own" style that just dont make my head nod...but im sure on 12 cd's there is without a doubt some seriously dope shit on there.

nah i dug it, at first not too much, cause of guilty, i couldn't swallow him and his sound, never have really been able to, but it actually grew on me quite a bit, raps and all, the bad kid does it all you know, not everybody is gonna feel every release, esp if they got into certain releases of his and this doesn't really sync up with being the same sound and concept, personally i thought a majority of the beats for super ill, i'm not a fan of the real synthy/club kinda banger ones like paper, but lucky guy, robberies, kill em, those beats are spectacular, and yeah, maybe its not some shit you'd play for others cause guilty sounds like such a ignorant thug, but for my headphones its gotten more and more rotations as time has gone on

yeah i wasn't tryin to, this is one of the only places i can talk about hip hop releases like this you know??? but word, i guess i can feel you about that, with all the crazy recieved projects under dudes belt its hard to have every release seem to be as sonically spectacular, but i was just sayin for what it is, i've come around to liking much more than i initially did, the interludes are all tight as shit, and its not that it doesn't flow, but i totally know what you mean, its just slightly more boring and basic compared to other releases in the past (lib releases, not guilty releases)
