After lurking around the forum for a few years now I finally got myself an SP404! I had previously owned the 404 when it newly released, but at the time I was a sampling noob, so I returned it to buy an ASRX. It seems all the stars, planets, and moons aligned and I was able to get a smoking deal on the 404 for $150. It was in brand new condition except missing the AC adapter which I already had an extra. And thanks to a forum member here I already had a 1GB cf card ready to go! So not to make this longer than it should I can finally get down in the battles, beat tapes, and all the other SP forum goodness. It is official!

I got a chance to bust out on it lastnight.... and damn it feels good to be unplugged! I put a few hours into it and my batteries are still nearly fresh

Getting out and about while sampling is the golden ticket!
