MIDI and the SP-404 (w/ MPC + Alesis)

all is good! thank you! i think it was the "off" button on the 404 that needed to be. so i got it working so it's triggering the 404, but how do i trigger the 404's pads and record a sequence into the MPC with the samples from my 404? i just tried to do that but no sound...

correct me if i misundersatnd this, but if you want to send any midi signals from your 404, you cannot do that for the reasons i told you before: a machine with just midi in can only receive midi (notes, sync etc)signals...
