one thing im just not good at is ending a beat. like..i dno i can never think of a good way to break it down and alot of my beats fade out already....so its like...i dont know what to do and i dont like the beat to extend two minutes.

Man, just so you know, keep you're roland file for each beat you make, you never know when an MC wants to spit over it, and wants it to be longer

about ending a beat, you could try slowly removing layers, like the drums, and...what the hell i dunno man

This was cool and you're right about having a no-bass thing because the only bassline I could think of for this has been used a million times.

I was thinking of the bassline on Steppenwolf's "Pusher Man" would fit the bill though.
