pan on tape ???
yo peace to the sp fam. i made some beats with some ill pannings, so when i record them beats to tape (1 track/full beat) will i lose all the pannings? i think mono/stereo has some influence on this. sorry if this is a total n00b question
Re: pan on tape ???
yeah 1 track=mono. to obtain stereo record your left channel to track 1 and the right channel to track 2
Re: pan on tape ???
ook thanks, that technique seems to work!
Re: pan on tape ???
....what if i just get a stereo tape deck, will i be able to rec my beat in 1 take and still keep the pan?

Yes, but you could just as easily overdub in the SP by resampling, just make sure that you hit the stereo button before you resample or you'll lose the stereo effects like pan/tremolo.
