Hey, man
welcome to the forums. i really like your sound..your mixing is top notch, imo.

if you're looking for good info on the sp series, this is the place to do it. I am also an MPC 1k user. If I were you, i'd have a look at the sp-404 sx...it has the best fx, storage options, and flexibility of the sp series. The 303 does have a nice lo-fi sound, but honestly, that can be accomplished just as easily with jjos's 12 bit reduction feature.

We produce similar stuff- here's a link to my music

Yo thanx for listening and the welcoming, I appreciate the comment, I've been really working on my mixing, been panning more and leveling to make it sound alil bit more fuller.

Yea thats why I cant decide, I really love the Lo fi effect on the 303 and the price. And I know nothing know about the 12 bit reduction feature on the JJ. Ima keep reading more on here.

I jus added u. Ur sh** is nice du. I dig how u pick non usual samples, thats creative. Thanks for taking the time.

There some creative sh** going on in these forums. Loving the creativity.

welcome aboard... nice stuff up on the space

i would recommend to go with an old 404... people already might hate me for this sentence but mpc1k's can read 404CF cards (up to 64MB), which is god damn cool.

What up ...chicago in the house...im actually doin the opposite lookin at an mpc1k...

You might like the sp505 cuz of the wav display and its "autochop" type choppin were it chops individual hits on a loop into 16 pads ...all you gotta do is adjust start and end points which is a breeze with the display..

the 505 is/was easy to learn too...didnt even need the manual...just watch the vids on youtube by Olby...

Thanks for listening Ellaguru!

CHi Town~!!! yup Mpc1kdope jus doesn't have to many audio outs. Wich don't matter to me that much yet. So its str8. Ya I got to check out the 505, I don't really kno to much about the 505. I jus been really focused on the 303 or 404. but I did hear its kinda frustrating at 1st to learn(303 or 404) but after that, it gets iLL to Fuck wit

dude your shit is dope nothin wrong with it and the mix is def on point...its all creative as hell too..the only critique i have is add a couple more variations of the sample on your pattern and some breaks and rsts to give it a more loose feel to go with your loose drums...ive always enjoyed the stuff on your page..id give the same critique to most including myself too hehe

by the way im jealous though that your gettin an sp and ill prob have to get one too
