it was pretty cool, but you should add more variety. gets pretty boring after 1 minute. maybe add some efx? i do like your top friends on your page - ras, teebs, matthew.

Yeah I agree it lacks of variety,
I wanted to record a jam that would change at some times without changing the whole thing, but I guess I have to improve the way to make minimalistic beats without getting boring...

Thanks a lot for the feedback though!

much respect to you guys,

I never climbed the ladder in front of me to see where it did not lead. Only when I had never reached the top would I not have seen if the climb was not worth it.

Thanks. I like the Metroid Flip one on your page, but I think you should maybe bring the melody in the background to the "front", and maybe trying to make it a little more fluid with some tiny amount of delay?

You also should probably play with the compressor if you record yourself with Ableton Live, it increases the record's sound quality a lot...

Give it a shot, maybe you'll like it :)

that track is actually all 404 into audacity through my mic jack. my set up is pretty limited at the moment, still learning my way around ableton. But thank for the knowledge, all baby steps yo. what are you using to make your sounds?

Ableton Live to re-arrange those I get from usual ways (movies, vinyls, field recordings, etc) then I record myself playing the 404 with the samples I've made with Live again.
