what do you guys think of the 808?
just curious as i keep seeing them on ebay for under 250...
lookin for other gritty folk to work with....
mpc1000, sp 404, akai s900, roland vs 880ex, pioneer rt 707, akai gx m50
fl studio producer edition,and lots of vinyl, i mean LOTS

If you look at the AUTOCHOPP movies on YouTube I would say the SP-808 can be mad impressive.
On the other hand, the SP-606 would be a more modern choice. Probably would prefer that one over the 808. The SP-808 is a whole lot more raw than the 606 though.
As for 152$ it can't be beaten that easily actually.
