Cool sounding beat first of all...but I never understand when people use the "off time" or "off beat" terminology. The impression I had was that it was a result of playing mostly live without quantize, not really something you plan to do, more a natural byproduct rather than something you aim for. It seems like a lot of people overthink it to me, not trying to knock you in any way...I was just reading something about the "off beat style" on another forum...it's weird to me b/c I never even thought of producers with that sound as "off beat" until I started seeing the terminology, I always just thought of it as more live, organic sounding joints...

very nice... might have been a little tighter if the drums were as dusty or dustier, as the samples... could definitely listen to a tape like this.
keep going.

thanx for listening! yeah i feel ya on the drums sounds..i made this one a long time ago and didnt really know much about layering and i kinda just used any random drums i thew together back then. ive always wanted to go back and work on this beat again but i lost the project file so it it what it is.
