Hmm, can't think of any words they use differently than in Cali around these parts...

back when I used to smoke blunts daily we would drive around our local reservoir, we called it a "res ride". and it was like a town wide thing, handed down through generations.

Saying something really dope is "tough":
"Yo that new Elhuana album is tuff!"
Saying "dinged" if you incur a financial loss:
"I took my broken SP into the repair shop and got ding'd for $350"
To "wipe" a mixer- put all the faders down to zero.
"I had this set up perfectly, then hXc came in and wiped it to start from scratch"
"Sak Pase" is of course saying "whatsup" in Haitian Creole-
If someone says "sak pase" to you you can say "nap boule" (I'm good)
Many people that aren't Haitian say it as a friendly thing.
These ain't really NYC though- except I hear 'tuff' a lot. My neighborhood is very Puerto Rican & Dominican so I use many Spanish key phrases and I call girls 'ma'.
"Perdon ma" = excuse me miss

That's pretty much the bumper sticker for my old city Boston MA.
People don't say it with a wink of irony either

a snapper is when you rip the bong pack so hard that the weed all burns up and it snaps through into the water
"yo petey, snap that shit through so i can pack a fresh one"
or you can pack personal snappers that are usually pretty hefty and try and kill it in one hit, endin with the snap

Re: WHATS YOUR LINGO?
back in the day when two of us would say the same thing at the same time, my friend would say "pinch, poke, gimme a coke" and start counting 1,2,3,4,5,6,7... and you had to say 'stop'. whatever number he was at when you said it, that's supposedly how many cokes you owed him. it was really irritating and we would eventually make it an inside joke when that guy moved away, exaggeratedly yelling it at each other, seeing who could say it first and fastest whenever there was another jinx. instead of counting it would just be PINCHPOKEGIMME A COKE ADDADADDAAADA!!! another of my friends thought it sounded like 'adder dadder adder dadder' and eventually it turned into just 'dadder'. it just seemed to stick with everybody we met later on, and nowadays we say 'dadder' to mean 'i was thinking the same thing as you' .
person 1: "this is some good pizza."
person 2: "dadder."

Re: WHATS YOUR LINGO?
I have been trying to revive forgotten slang from the 1920s...
In fact just the other day I hopped the trolley following this bearcat because I was trying to take a peek at her gams as I was carrying a torch for her chassis, when this little ragamuffin who couldn't have been more than like fifteen started to beat his gums trying to bum a gasper and I told him to dry up and he just kept flapping on and on like he was on the giggle water from the gin mill and I was like yo this little Palooka thinks he's hard boiled when if he were just a few years older i'd smack the sap for his rubes but i'm not trying to go on the lam on account of this roustabout. So anyways long story short I'll be hitting on the sixes when I get my iron back from the mechanic even though it's a real hayburner. At least I've been able to save some buffalos for some real top notch hootch down at the juice joint, I'm pretty ossified right now actually as you can probably tell from these run on sentences. It ain't my fault yo, I'm just grummy I didn't get to talk to the philly and i been lollygaggin around on account of me missing out on that tomato earlier on a trip for bicuits.. oh well this tea's got me swank right now anyways.
