Thanks Korakios, I downloaded Cakewalk P606 Software thru your link, but I'm running into troubles when I try to start the program. I'm play wit it and see what it do. For real tho, thanks for the link!

The download works (the Roland-ftp for instance), but unfortunately it doesn't include the english pdf manual.
There's the Japanese pdf included in the download, but the English seems to be a separate file on the original CD ?

Does anybody have the english manual for the P606 software perhaps ? (pdf?)

cool i got this running on windows xp 32 bit.

took me a couple days of reinstalling drivers to figure out that vender driver has to be on, when vendor driver is off, the sp 606 will install as a usb audio interface. when you turn the USB vendor driver off , The 606 is Just a soundcartd but you cannot run P606 , but you can record the SP and sample from the computer.


If your drivers don't install properly when you follow the instructions.

You need to turn the vender driver ON .. Then you can change it to OFF mode when you want to use other software, but you cant use both at once, I havnt found a streamline way to make sample banks of P606 sounds though, or how to sync the SP with the P 606. other then the sounds it seems pretty useless for what i need to do. but some of the sounds are cool.
