Post by Platypus Beird »

Any tips on how to pan without the wacky panning effect..which i like but, I just want to be able to have hi hat, snare, instruments panned....only way I know right now is to sample stereo but only to one side...

I'm almost certain there's nothing in the 404 to do this. Maybe in a future o/s update, but I'm not counting on it.

Just when you think things couldn't get any more exciting - they don't.

you could use the wacky panning effect to resample. Just keep retrying it untill it pans it the way you want.

the SP606 has panning...madlib also owns one of those. But if you resample with the pan effect just the one note at the right moment you can get the effect u need.

yeah, like Frantic said, resample yourself playing the hat repeatedly with Tremolo/Pan on. then use Mark to select the hat which is panned the way you want
