12-bit quickie

Post by boogie »

Had some fun with the 5-o the other night and thought I'd post the results

http://www.divshare.com/download/10348394-58e
Nothing too complicated

Oh yeah, I record straight from the sp via my pc's crappy line-in to audacity so the quality might not be the best. I'll get my hands on some 4-track cassette recorder (my uncle didn't remember the manufacturer) in a few weeks. Can't wait to bounce 'em samples 8)

peace

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it :)
That sounds pretty nice, I dig the drums.
The sample is too repetitive, though, but you're definitely on a good start ;)

dig it.

by 12 bit, do you mean yr recording into the 5ive Oh using the bit crush in the lo-fi effect? you can get some gooooood results w/ that.

either way, it IS a simple beat, but since it's just a minute and a half, the length is right for what it is.

dope for a nice quick verse! i digg it the way it is. for using shitty computer outs its not bad either. i had that same problem a while back but it doesnt have to stop the creative flow.
